अक्सर सुना था लोगो से, कोई अजनबी अपना सा लगेगा,
पर सोचा न था वो अजनबी ज़िन्दगी बन जाएगा,
जिसे जानती नहीं ज्यादा, उसकी ख़ुशी की दुआ करूंगी,
जो है आँखों से दूर, उसे देखने की तमन्ना करूंगी,
जिसे छू नहीं सकती, उसे हवाओं में महसूस करूंगी,
जिसके इतना दूर होते हुए भी, ख्वाबो में मिला करूंगी,
कह भी न पाई मैं जो दिल में था,
और ऊपर वाले ने हमे दूर कर दिया,
अब बस इंतज़ार करती हु उस पल का,
जब मुझे साथ होगा उनका,

ऐ खुदा अब ये गवारा न होगा,
